How do I post a Slack message to Honey?

Using the post command, you can share something that's been posted on Slack to Honey without leaving your slack window. Here's how:

/honey post [group name in Honey] [url copied from slack]

Example:

  • Copy the URL from the Slack message that you want to share. Do this by hovering over the Slack message and clicking the link icon.

  • Next, type this command into Slack - replace the bold text with the Honey group name and the URL to the message you'd like to post to Honey: /honey post group URL

  • Press enter! you'll receive confirmation that your post was shared to Honey, along with a link to view the post on Honey

Note* if the group is two words to add a space between them.
