Topics are an easy way to organize the posts in each group. Similar to categories in an online forum! They allow you to place posts under specific heading to make easier to organize everything.
You can view the various topics within a group by clicking "All Posts" on the group's header. This will bring up a dropdown menu, and clicking on each topic will filter for those posts under those headings only.
