What are pinned posts?

Pinned posts allow Honey admins and moderators to make a post sticky within the group(s) it is published. This means that pinned posts always appear at the top of a group's feed. This feature is great for marking high priority information, reference posts that are visited often, or even a table of contents post for the group.

Pinned posts are marked with a red pushpin icon and remain pinned until an admin or moderator unpins the post.

To pin a post:

  • Visit the group where you'd like to pin a post.
  • Find the post that you would like to pin. Hover over it with your curser.
  • Click the settings gear icon that appears to the right on the post when hovering.
  • Select 'pin post' from the dropdown.

To unpin a post:

  • Find the post that you would like to unpin. Hover over it with your curser.
  • Click the settings gear icon that appears to the right on the post when hovering.
  • Select 'unpin post' from the dropdown.
