If you're looking to incorporate more custom colors within your Groups, we've got you covered with custom hex color codes for your Group cover images.
Hex color codes start with a pound sign or hashtag (#) and are followed by six letters and/or numbers (e.g. #FF4D00) to set a specific color.
To add a custom hex color code to a Group.
Visit your Groups Page by clicking the Groups tab located on the left-hand side of your Organization page.
Click into the designated Group.
Click the three-dot button on the right-hand side and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Locate the Background Color field, under the Group name and description.
Input your custom hex color code in the text box to add your custom color.
Click the Submit Settings button at the bottom of the page to save your changes and see your new Group cover image color in action.
To edit a custom hex color code on a Group.
Click into the designated Group and click the three-dot button on the right-hand side and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Locate the Background Color field, under the Group name and description.
Remove the current custom hex color code in the text box and add your new custom color.
Click the Submit Settings button at the bottom of the page to save your changes and see your new Group cover image color in action.
Please note that if a Group avatar is uploaded before a custom hex color code is added, the cover image will automatically select the color directly from the main avatar color.
Alternatively, if the Group avatar is removed, a default icon matching the background color will be automatically added.
